Typically masked in a balaclava, rapper and producer Leikeli47 makes danceable, playful hip-hop with bouncy beats that don’t obscure her thought-provoking lyrics. • She grew up a shy loner in various Brooklyn neighbourhoods, including Bed-Stuy, home of her hero, The Notorious B.I.G. • After releasing two mixtapes (LK-47 Pts. 1 and 2), the rapper made her major label debut with a self-titled 2015 EP, featuring the single “F**k the Summer Up”. • Her albums Wash and Set (2017) and Acrylic (2018) are part of a planned trilogy called the “Beauty Series”.
