Bengaluru bards Swarathma stay true to their folk-rock roots while mining a leaner sound on Raah-e-Fakira—their first full-length in six years. The album spans a gamut of emotions, including the lament “Aasman Ki Dukaan” and the light-hearted “Beta Sweater Pehno”. Amit Kilam of fusion pioneers Indian Ocean guests on “Sangat Ki Rangat”, while vocalist Vasu Dixit passes the mic to bassist Jishnu Dasgupta for the whimsical “Kaash”.
