Although rightfully popularised for "Kannanin Leelai”, a highly unusual meld of discordant dubstep and traditional Carnatic music, there is plenty more to dive into on this gleefully irreverent soundtrack. Take composer Sam C.S.'s collaboration with Tamil film music icon Yuvan Shankar Raja on "Thee Yazhini", a fey guitar and harmonica ballad that’s a soundtrack’s highlight. Elsewhere, "Kannadi Nenjan", an eerie electronic number with strains of electric guitar, sets the tone for this grim noir thriller.
