Canara Bank launches “Canara ai1” Mobile Banking Super App with more than 250 features integrated with the futuristic vision of “One Bank, One App”.

An intuitive app with enhanced User Interface & User Experience, “Canara ai1” Mobile Banking Super App offers a host of customer centric functionalities such as multi-mode funds transfer viz. UPI, RTGS,NEFT & IMPS, Fixed and Recurring Deposit opening,Fastag Recharge, Pay EMI / loans, scheduled payments, Nomination, Integrated Bill Pay, Integrated UPI etc., as additional features.

The app gives unique experience by providing option to customize the dashboard and choose the application theme of user choice (light/dark). App also features SCAN & PAY facility in the pre login screen.

Steps to install:

1. Install Canara ai1 mobile app.
2. After successful installation open app by clicking new Canara ai1 icon.
3. Click on next button to continue after selecting the SIM having Registered Mobile Number with the Bank. SMS will be initiated from the selected SIM; Ensure balance is available to send the SMS successfully.
4. After successful Mobile Number validation, an OTP will be sent to your Registered Mobile Number.
5. Enter the OTP received and continue.
6. You will be redirected to create and confirm your 5 digits numeric PASSCODE for login to the application.
7. Accept the Terms & Conditions after successfully creating the PASSCODE.
8. Grant the permissions requested during the registration process to access all aplication features.
9. Before initiating any mobile Banking transactions, you need to create and confirm new 6 digits numeric MPIN for authenticating transactions.
10. Click on ‘SET NOW’ to activate your Mobile Banking facility using active debit card details/activation code (Visit home branch for generating the activation code).

Added beneficiaries Got removed

I am unable to use beta version in my Apple XR. Kindly help..

Added beneficiaries got removed automatically.. why and how?!! With the resetting of the mobile software, all installed application got erased from the mobile along with Candi. All the added beneficiaries also got removed along with the removal of the Candi application while resetting the mobile software which is really disheartening and enforced to do extra work by adding same beneficiaries again and again which was previously added, whereas rest of the applications come with all previous records once got registered. Kindly rectify it to make the Candi App more user friendly.

Dear sir, We have reduced the MB registration time to enhance mobile banking security. Any delay in sending registration for the SMS will be terminate the MB registration process. Please ensure better network connectivity. Then also facing the same issue then please drop a mail hoditmb@canarabank.com with relevant details so that we check this.

User friendly & quick at service

iPhone User - Surprised to see a PSU concentrating so much Security Features of Mobile Banking app.
1. App automatically for deactivated after switching of SIM cards & one have to re-register & setup app again. That’s a very good security feature.
2. Very user friendly app & designed to understand by Leyman.
3. Quick addition of beneficiary & hassle free funds transfer
4. Can activate/deactivate/hotlist & set limit for my card very smoothly. Didn’t find any glitch here as other users have complained.
5. Easy access to Internet Banking too. Can create online Fixed Deposits & Recurring Deposits & close without worrying for banking hours. Loved this feature.
6. UPI is also integrated in same app. Wow.
7. I can pay my various bills through same app. That’s very useful.
& so many other features.
Thanks to Canara Bank for this very useful app. Kindly keep adding features.

Yes, I faced some issues while registering & for OTP but it seems the issue is with my Network Service Provider may be due to network congestion cause of bulk SMS flooding. So, I opted for OTP on call & completed registration.

Fast

Canara Bank app used to be slow. But now it is really fast. Now I use both banking and UPI with Canara Bank app. I used to use different UPIs earlier. Google Pay, PhonePe, Paytm, MobiKwik. Now I have moved to Canara Bank BHIM UPI. It is fast and I dont have much privacy concerns with them as the other UPIs. Also some private UPIs constantly ask for KYC details and no choice to disable this behavior. I don’t have any such issues with Canara Bank app UPI. So far very much satisfied with the app.

I used the recharging option in the app to recharge my BSNL mobile connection (pre paid). I tried many plans and other than losing my money, none of the plans worked. I went to a local BSNL exchange to verify if the plan recharging went through, but they said no and told me to wait few days to see if the money gets refunded back to my Bank account. Now its been 14 days since i did the recharge and I am stuck with the money lost to Canara app for BSNL recharge.

I know that Canara app is a Banking app so changing my 5 star review to 1 star may not be 100% apt because this is a mobile recharging issue. But if something does not work, please don’t implement it in the app. Maybe recharging works with other operators. But it didn't work for BSNL. And please refund the money if the transaction could not be completed.
