Arrogant no 1

I ordered grocery delivery from al Adil store.
After some time I received a call which the caller hanged on as I started talking
When I tried to call there call was accepted and no one talked and hanged on after sometime
Later I received my incomplete grocery order and was charged fully for the order
On calling customer care they said they called me to modify the order as some items were not available which I have mentioned above what they did they were calling just to prove they called no one was answering
And they put my balance in their wallet in app refused to refund to card
Also there was 25 aed discount which also they refused to credit or refund back
Worst delivery app
In NowNow if they replace items they make sure they have called us and they don’t charge deleivery fee

Terrible Customer service Executive Ms Almas.

We were supposed to receive order at 10:50pm. At 10:46pm since the app still showed restaurant is still preparing.. we called the rider.. who claimed that he had just picked up the order after which I called the restaurant asking about the delay.. the restaurant says the order was prepared 20 mins prior to 10:46 and that the rider had not reached the restaurant.. no idea who was right! To report about this confusion I called the Customer Care and someone named Almas responds like an AI or reading out from a word document about how she can assist..! Her standard response “ I can understand. I will follow up with rider” I can understand, if there is quality issue call us back and we will rectify” when asked how she can rectify when I receive the order late and cold. her response “ I can understand Ma’am you are hungry but I cannot commit on how I can rectify!!!!” When asked to escalate to her manager, I was told there will be a call back arranged. What a waste of service, especially when they charge us.

Bad customer service. More money centric than customer

I first used Careem on my visit to Dubai and learnt about Careem that once any user come to a point when they need customer support, Careem always turns deaf ears. In my wife’s account, a driver crossed us without stopping to pick, I waited for a while after which had to cancel. I was charged cancellation fee of about 15 AED. They were very resistive in admitting. I had to keep writing to them and after lot of effort this was reversed. Now, in another account, since I am new I didn’t know i would be charged for CareemPlus automatically after trial. When I got a debit msg from my credit card company, I immediately reached out to customer support requesting to reverse and cancel. No points to guess, they refused. I have had a similar scenario wherein the transaction was reversed when I reached out to concerned person within reasonable time.
