The crazy app
This is by far the best app i have used and i made many many great friends..... its all worth, couchsurfing is doing a wonderful job by connecting people and helping fellow travelers to keep them in there budget! The problem is not with the app but with people, they need to understand that this is not a dating site and also a commercial site like air bnb..... before hosting or surfing someone one needs to know the true motive of the app......
Overall Good
The app is good! Only thing I don’t like about it is the interface. The interface could be improved to be a lot more cleaner and easy to interact with. Placement of things and sometimes it gets buggy and sluggish like the inbox section which shouldn’t be like that. I hope you pay attention to it in the next update. And also as you are providing limited free service to users who haven’t paid, there should be an option to get important things like phone, email & Govt. ID verified without having to pay the fees because it can be more assuring & secure for the host and the guest as well. Rest all you are doing is a good job keep it up. I just want these two minor improvements.
Good but biased towards men!
I love using Couchsurfing and so far few of the most favourite people in my life I’ve met them through CS! This is best platform to meet and live with people from different different countries and cultures. I love using it but I find CS team is bit biased with gender equality and I got fake negative reference from female and I complain to CS team. But they didn’t even try to investigate about my case and I saw CS team is more helpful towards female users, which is okay but I hope they take complain from men seriously as well.
I didn’t like CS team’s disinterested attitude about my complain!
Otherwise app is so good just need to make it more easier for iPhone users!
