Quick app crashes and hang

GoPro Team please work on your quick app as its frequently got crash and hung sometime while editing or saving large files. Sometime it got hang and nothing works on my iPhone . Really frustrating. Not sure when this will work smooth as you’re world top action camera manufacturer and your app should be work like a cream . Please put sometime on quick app and debug all the bugs from this . So everyone can easily use this app . Currently I am not giving rating on this . Once the issue got resolved I will come back and rate it accordingly .

Abomination

What a living hell this app gives. It’s a non user-friendly, complicated mess, which asks the users to pay for basic features like basic editing. I’m gonna be fair in the review. Not all is bad. Being able to control your GoPro Hero remotely is a nice feature which works well. The mural feature is sort of nice as well as it let’s you take the mind of your raw footage and edits a few highlights to make a nice simple jump-cut like vlogger video.

But the worst part comes with the photo transfer. I had heard that this part was bad, but THIS BAD? I don’t know how to tell you. The footage does not directly upload to the cloud. Rather, it takes up the storage on your device and uploads the same file on the cloud. And then there is no way to delete that storage taken up by the heavy video files in the app. So the only way to get rid of the excess footage, is to delete the app, reinstall it, login and re-connect your GoPro. They could just have added a button for this. Or make it entirely automatic! You need to do this entire process every time you upload material to your app/cloud (which is a paid service!). Even a free service isn’t that bad!

You can’t take software so lightly GoPro. I really wish this was better.

Great hardware but very poor software

The hardware of the go pro hero 9 is the best great picture quality with so many good features but when it comes to software it is really bad frequent app crashes, no low res app view support for 4k videos, not so good editing features and still pricey app and accessories. we pay a plenty of amount to gorpo for the device, they should keep the editing feature at least free, the competitor like insta360 has much better editing features that too for free. Guess gopro should learn from that. No in app audio recording so you have to buy again an expensive frame called media mod which just records the audio. See there are so small counterparts in the competitor devices. also, they support in app audio recording and auto sync features. I only bought gopro for video quality but on all the other parts, it is not worth the money spent. App as well as hardware is lacking innovation and using same old year old adapters and bug frames for just audio support will not help in future.

Editing features should be free at least
