FAQ:
Q: Can I create or edit sheet music with this app?
A: Unlike Guitar Pro for Windows and Mac, this app does not let you change the notation in an existing Guitar Pro file, or create sheet music in standard notation. It is however possible to edit a single-track tablature with the NotePad tool and export your work into .gpx and .gp formats to finish your composition in Guitar Pro 6 or 7. Editing a drum track is not available with the NotePad tool.

No doubt a great option for a mobile device but could have been far better!
I have been keeping high expectations with the application! As i have always used the computer version of this app, ever since came to knew its existence.
But the application is not as powerful as the computer version, which is obvious to be expected. There are still a lot of oppurtunity to make it even better, like multiple track writing. There are no doubt other aspects which can be given a fine touch too!
To conclude it does somewhat solve the purpose!

Not worth the money
While modern devices offer great capabilities, Arobas has stuck with a decade-old app. The app’s limitations are apparent, especially in terms of automation. Editing a measure differently isn’t feasible; one must alter the entire song. The app lacks effects like vibrato types, bend durations, and tremolos. It’s also limited to exporting PDFs, not GP files, on my iPad. Essentially, this app is solely for viewing GP files; editing is unfeasible. Frankly, it should at least match Guitar Pro 4 or even 5’s capabilities on PC by now.
Pain to download tabs
It’s a pain to search and download tabs. Why don’t you include a search function within the app so that tabs can be loaded directly rather than searching and downloading them separately in a browser and loading them. In this respect Ultimate Guitar is far superior. Please work on it. Otherwise, this is a great app.
