Perfect! Just replace the erasing with strikethrough?
This is as close as it gets to an actual typewriter, each and every key sound is perfect, including the end of line alerts, the next line operation, even the page change operation. Also the animation of the keys clacking under my fingertips is quite realistic. One have already mentioned the occasional glitch where the app shuts down if you try to select a word. However as the action of selecting a word is not an option in an actual keyboard, I was not too unhappy about it. The only thing that is different from the authentic typewriter experience is that here you can erase stuff, which can be replaced by an action of striking through the mistakes. I would love if the developers make this little change, or at least create an option where we can choose to strike through instead of erasing.
A pleasure
I get nostalgic about typewriters and I think this is the best app in the market- there is one glitch though for the IPAD air 3 it shuts down when a major action like back space is in process I request the developers to please fix this. Otherwise it’s fantastic
Great effect but gimmicky with multiple problems
1) Purchased the full set of typewriters but there's an issue when using any Bluetooth keyboard. The hanx keyboard on the screen does not minimise sometimes when the Bluetooth keyboard is on. If I manually ose the Hanx keyboard then the Bluetooth keyboard also doesn't work as it goes into the reading mode. Then the app has to be closed and restarted everytime for this glitch to go away. It's annoying and it's taking away the joy of using this app.
2) tried to reinstall the app to see it it would help with the keyboard issue. After reinstalling, purchases are not restoring. I’ve lost all the keyboards I had purchased.
This app hasn’t been updated in years - you can use it for the novelty of it but do not waste money on purchases and you can’t use the app for anything really productive.
