Required Permission:

Health App integration :
- If the user has a health policy and when they click on steps from the Dashboard screen, the Application will ask for Health App Permission in order to access the Health App data.
- By allowing special permission to track your steps and calories users will get rewarded. They can get discounts on the bases of their daily steps and calories.
- HDFC ERGO Insurance app uses health data from your health app.
- HDFC ERGO doesn't use anything else from the health app
Note: HDFC ERGO does not create any data. It simply reads data from the health app and processes the data to show your physical activity details.

Great
HDFC Ergo health policy is a comprehensive health insurance plan that offers extensive coverage for medical expenses. The policy covers hospitalization, pre and post hospitalization expenses, day care procedures, etc. It also offers cashless hospitalization and has an extensive network of hospitals across the country. The policy has many benefits and is highly recommended for individuals and families looking for a reliable health insurance plan.
A very Poor App from a Top Ins company
Recently I ported my Health Policy to HDFC Ergo. To my Surprise I found the General Insurance Digital system is pathetic condition. I have not received policy doc and policy wordings email even if email is correct .when I checked the mobile app to see my policy it was not reflecting. So after 3 days today reflected in app but unable to see the detailed policy information. Lot of error are coming like Failed Data Not Found etc. Track your Fitness goal option not working. Again some error. It seems a bunch of new App developers have developed this. The Hospitals Locator is not showing any Hospitals. Tap Know your policy, it will redirect to a web browser. No In app info visible. Click Renew Policy but it will ask you enter policy Number. Now I feel why I paid a 30 40 % higher premium? To experience legacy Service and paper work.

Never get cheated by buying this crap policy
Three months ago, my credit card relationship manager advised me to acquire HDFC Ergo insurance. For my daughter and wife, I purchased a Rs. 5 lakh insurance coverage. My child was admitted to the hospital a few days ago because he had a fever and a chest infection. Despite having company insurance, I tested HDFC-ERGO at the hospital. They denied my coverage within two days, citing that the child has a history of tonsillitis and that their insurance does not allow for cashless claims or payments. My claim was granted after I submitted my company's insurance within a day.
As my Rs. 25,000 is gone, I strongly advise you to never buy this nonsense coverage. I am only able to submit the HDFC Ergo policy for tax exemption. The worst policy I've ever purchased This is the first time I've had a poor experience with the HDFC Group.
