The ION app is made exclusively for our subscribers. It can be used for iOS 7 and later. Using this app an existing ION subscriber would be able to:
Renew broadband account :
A subscriber can renew broadband account by clicking on the renew now button on the home screen. Payment can be done through credit / debit card, net banking or can put in a payment pickup request to the collection team for making a cash or cheque payment.
Upgrade existing broadband package :
A subscriber can upgrade existing broadband package by clicking on the Upgrade Package button on the home screen. Following options are available
Next renewal :
Subscriber package will be scheduled for upgrade when his current plan expires.
Subscriber package will be upgraded to the chosen plan with immediate effect and no adjustment in the amount.
Subscriber package will be upgraded to the chosen plan with immediate effect and with adjustment in the amount previously paid on a pro-rata basis.
Put in a payment pickup request :
Subscriber can put in a payment pickup request with the company. A date and time can be selected through the option and the same is captured and conveyed to the collection team for further action.
Register a complaint :
Subscriber can launch a complaint through the app.
Get notifications :
All notifications related to renewal reminders, pickup request status, complaint status and value added services will be visible under the notifications tab of the app.

customer experience is IMPORTANT
ticket raised are resolved and getting closed a very good point for support team however tickets when closed are not intimated to the end customer.
a simple email or sms intimation would be great
your support center number is toll free, it has crm to detect end customer based on incoming caller id; all very great things and customer oriented; simple mail plus sms for customer tickets and informing the end customer about app and support number change will surely help.
overall a good support system and team but these small things can surely help building more loyal customer base.
if the review reaches top management or concerned team great; if not; at least other users will be aware of the old app being discontinued and new app to be downloaded for online support and other activities.
every one may not be checking tour website so often but the mobile app will surely have more user base.

App crashes right after login
Needs lot of improvement. Not able to pay via app.
Crashes after logging in the first time and later it does not show up profile details pr any other thing. Do not download it. As worse as ion net services. Expected thing from i-on service
