My App Friday
Everyday I rely on this beautiful app to help me discover delicious dishes around me I'd have never found if it hadn't been for this app. Great design, functional, effective and evolving. Keep up the good work, go full unicorn!
Only occasional niggling issues with last mile experience, nothing too serious. Hope offers feature was implemented a bit more intuitively, and support via app was improved to avoid having to call or chat at all.
Needs improvement!
The apps user interface is good. Menu, food ordering and payments are all good. Live tracking is a welcome addition. But the problem is the app doesn't get updated properly after the order is placed. It shows awaiting restaurant confirmation for ever. Even after multiple refreshes and restarts of the app. This is a crucial part of user experience according to me as it reduces the tension as some times restaurants cancel the order often. And knowing they accepted or not helps as incase they refused we can order from a different restaurant.
Need to have a cancel option
I recently placed an order and had to cancel it immediately in the first minute after placing the order due to a change in plan. The app doesn't give an option to cancel. The only way to cancel is to call the call center, which put me on hold for about 3 minutes. By the time I spoke to their executive, the executive claimed that the order was placed/processed and that a cancellation charge will be applicable. There needs to be an option of cancelling within a certain time period.
