This Nike fitness app features a polished collection of visual workouts, hosted by celebrity athletes like Serena Williams. It's equally effective at home or at the gym. While each lesson can be taken on its own, Nike Training Club also features month-long structured programs that’ll help you achieve even better results.
I’ve been using this app for a day. Well...first of all, as soon as I opened the app I knew that this app is something special and it did really amaze me the whole time. I really loved the app and thank Nike team for coming up with such an app. It is a perfect app for people like me who can’t make it to the gym but want to stay fit. I really loved the exercises and the sync between the music and the app.
Everything was perfect until I noticed something which was a bit annoying. I enabled notifications for the app so that it could notify me about my personalised workout plan. I thought there would be a setting where you can set your workout timings so that the app notifies you about your workout plan at that time. But there’s no such option provided. Moreover, the app didn’t notify me anything about my plan the next day, that I should be doing my workout for the day. I was a bit annoyed about that. Last but not the least, my customised workout plan somehow got deleted and i had to set a new plan again which I found a bit irritating. Except these issues, everything was perfectly fine about the app and I love it for which I’m rating it 4/5.
Life or rather Lifestyle Changing App
Well Done Nike, possibly one of the most useful ( positive lifestyle influencing )app I have on my phone.
What I love :
1. Highly Effective Workout with a lot of versatility in each.
2. Great Options to mix things up.
3. Literally feels like I have a virtual personal trainer, very well made app.
4. Understands my constraints and resources (equipment, time, space,etc) , explains imp of each workout.
5. Love the athlete workout Integration.
Improvement Areas & Feedback:
Minor suggestions , mostly UI related.
Sometimes one can press “End Workout” accidentally , we should have an option to press back.
Some workouts, can be slightly injury prone or tricky than other excersizes, no one wants to get themselves injured. To avoid this risk, these certain select excersize can have some indicator ( red dot or whatever) , just to give us a heads up. User can the review movement or practice it with caution before he masters it.
After downloading my workout, when I start then sometimes “Pause”, on the pause screen I should have the option to go back up and check and the option to scroll down to see what’s up next or how many drills are left.
Sometimes music starts later than usual.
Edit Profile - Choose Photo - Should be able to crop picture and select.
Sharing option is missing sometimes, when sharing pictures more than stickers , it should also display the workout we did.
