How to get bonus software
I bought this app but there is no way to get bonus software promised! How do I get it?
30 second limit on voice2text
The voice to text conversion is remarkably accurate, even when I was in a noisy room. You need a wifi/3G to convert speech to text (since it connects to SpinVox), which is fine, as you can record anywhere and then convert when connected (I use an iPodTouch). However, considering that this is the essential reason that you buy the app, 30 second limit on conversion to text, renders it useful only for reminders or short messages.
Their desktop version is free, which is a bonus. However, if they allow 5-10 mins of audio for text conversion, it would mean you can almost transcribe audio blogs and short discussions! In fact, if they can charge for conversion for larger files, it would be worth considering.
Very promising technology, considering recent speech to text (Scribe?) transcribers are over 100 US$.
