When I open any question of quora first it’s open in the currently using browser even though I had downloaded Quora App iOS. After that, while I am reading seriously, something interesting suddenly one pop up comes and it shows an Itching massage “download Quora App” and it would be there like you download me or forget reading Quora. The app developers lack basic common sense to make it automatically to be open in available app and the pop up must be just an option and should be shown at one corner but not in the middle of the web page.
Mobile users just can’t use it on a browser
It’s just rude to force users to download the app for every website on the internet. The mobile phones come with a limited memory and all of us won’t have enough space to install another app that I’m going use may be once a month. You developers should know this and it’s done deliberately to force users to download the app when I can just use the browser to view your website. You recognise that it’s a mobile device and force download app window in the front so users can’t read any further without downloading your stupid app. Pardon my language. But this type of forceful user download is only going to push users away. This app is going to get offloaded anyway since I’m not going use it as often as you want me to use it.
Good initially went bad later..
I have been using quora for a while. Used to fondly read the content feed. Then they added a feature where they would beam news to the time line. Slowly within a few weeks, the content started becoming only about everything to do with murder, killings and hatred. Felt like a systematic beaming of very gory content, just like now tv News and other media’s do it.
It went so bizarre that I actually deleted the app just to avoid such content. A month and a half later, downloading it again to give a second chance.
Beware everyone, if you find such content on your stream, try and limit your exposure to it. Don’t allow anyone to programme your happiness into feeling anything otherwise.
