Mimicking the new generation of button-based music keyboards (they don't follow conventional octave system), the TonePad is an application that demonstrates this concept amazingly and has great prospects. Some cons: The freeware version of the app does not launch unless Internet connectivity is available. The tones are limited to a single sound - an echo-harp. The volume level of the sound is very low; it requires a lot of amplification to be audible. I wish it had a facility to use diff. tones, save the compositions locally and maybe even allow user-sampled sounds. For the un-initiated, you have gotta try this out. Perhaps you will rush out and get yourself the physical instrument from Yamaha after this.
The colors repel won't appear on 6S 9.3.2 and the color board is also absent.
Beautiful tranquilizing soothing tunes....
