Yulu is a technology-driven mobility platform to enable Integrated Urban Mobility across public and private modes of transport. Has Potential but ....
It’s good to see bike sharing finally making it to Indian roads and on the surface Yulu seems to be great, but if you are a regular rider that’s when Yulu starts to creep you out.
While the app and bike itself seemed to have improved quite a lot, customer care and payment service has gone downhill.
They have super saver packs which will charge you the whole amount, but then the app gets stuck. If you email customer care(unfortunately it’s the only way to reach them, they no longer have a customer care number) response will be - the saver pack is not activated for you, please pay additional amount to activate). Club it with the fact that you could be at times asked to upload a pic even after you have parked in a Yulu zone make me rethink if it’s worth all the extra time you spent which should otherwise be an enjoyable stress free ride. I mean one has to wonder if they incorrectly fine you, trying to get your money back won’t be easy given the inadequate customer support.

Poor customer care support
I downloaded Yulu App and planning for a short trip, took a cycle and after 7 minutes trying to park a cycle in between to pause the ride for few minutes and after manual lock the app does not work and I could not unlock and resume the ride. Since it is is a non yulu zone I could not end the ride also. Sent a emergency support mail to yulu and only ticket raised no support. Then after trying blue tooth on and off, restart the mobile problem not solved. Then deleted the yulu app and reinstalled and try to unlock the bike but it said already you are using a ride. After one hour the app shows the option to resume the ride. Immediately I unlocked the bike and return to yulu zone where I exactly picked the cycle and tried to end ride after manual lock. Cycle get locked but ride did not end and app still continues, I sent the image of cycle in the yulu zone and screen shot of the app. But no support so far even after 11 hours, still the app shows i am on ride...
Unless they improve customer support not advisable to use yulu cycle.
Make your app better
After reading so many negative comments on app.. I ignored n installed.. and yes i found all negative comments are true.. cycle unlock, pause or end trip is a pathetic part.. there is customer care exists but you can only contact through e-mail.. sometimes they charge you penalty may be to know you they have customer care😂🤣😂.. Anyways it is a good project..
Request to developers please read comments all are trying to tell you the same thing..
