Course Description

The course Psychology of Negotiations – Reaching Sustainable Agreements in Negotiations on "Commons" deals with conducting negotiations in teams within the topic of Commons. These can range from bodies of knowledge like Wikipedia to natural resources like clean air or clean water. The course is based on the concept of resource-oriented negotiations by Prof. Dr. Roman Trötschel, an expert of Social and Organizational Psychology.
The course consists of six consecutive assignments. In each assignment a different aspect of the psychology of negotiations in the context of Commons will be addressed. The assignments include working on self-selected projects and cases, dealing with negotiations on Commons.
