- NotateMe recognises a wide range of music symbols, including notes (with solid, open, and slanted noteheads), flags, beams (even cross-staff*), leger lines, multiple voices per staff, chords, rests, accidentals (natural, sharp, double sharp & flat), articulation marks, augmentation dots, ties, slurs, hairpins, clef changes, key signatures. Barlines, clefs, time signatures and tuplets are added automatically.

- Drag and drop (or set selected drawings to) further music symbols including cross noteheads, pedal markings, ornaments and appoggiatura.

- Add chord-symbols, dynamics, technique, tempo changes and lyrics to your score. Write comments or ideas in 'red pen'.

- If NotateMe doesn’t recognize your style immediately, keep at it, as it will adjust. Leave clear space between symbols and make markings clearer with further strokes if any transcription errors occur. If you experience problems, tap 'Help Improve NotateMe' from the Export menu and we will analyze your handwriting to help us improve NotateMe further.

* Cross-staff beaming requires an iPad

This app has been updated by Apple to display the Apple Watch app icon.

Replaced Dropbox Sync with improved Import and Export functionality.

Buona ma...

Sicuramente l'idea e l'intenzione di questa app e' ottima e utilissima ma a mio avviso ci sono ancora tante cose da rivedere e correggere: Praticità d'uso, funzioni, grafica. A volte non riconosce subito le note scritte. L'uso e' macchinoso e molto poco pratico anche per quanto riguarda l'impaginazione sullo schermo dell'app.
Io la sto usando con un pennino normale, forse con una penna a punta sottile sarà sicuramente meglio ma ciò non toglie che va migliorata molto, considerando anche quello che costa. Forse con tante correzioni potrebbe diventare sicuramente una rivoluzione per quanto riguarda la notazione musicale su tablet ma per ora per me non merita tanto.

Gli sviluppatori? Spariti!!!

E’ troppo facile abbindolare i consumatori con una App che non può essere testata prima dell’acquisto. Siamo al cospetto di programmatori principianti con velleità professionali; i più pericolosi e per giunta particolarmente presuntuosi nel credere di conoscere la scrittura musicale.
L’applicazione non è stata più aggiornata e vane sono state le recensioni inviate, forse hanno deciso di cambiare mestiere o forse conoscono solo l’inglese; scriverò anche in codesto idioma.

It is too easy to dupe consumers with an app that can not be tested before purchase. We are in the presence of beginners programmers with professional ambitions; the most dangerous and, moreover, particularly presumptuous in believing that they know musical writing.
The application has not been updated and vain have been the reviews sent, maybe they decided to change jobs or maybe they only know English; I will also write in this idiom.

Perfetta per convertire spartiti in formato XML

Non vale niente come software di notazione musicale ma funziona benissimo per convertire spartiti (anche da foto ma molto meglio se scannerizzati). Una volta letti si possono esportare in formato MIDI o XML per utilizzarli con altri software di qualsiasi genere. Cambiate pure nome all'App e sviluppate bene il software di riconoscimento che è già molto valido così.
