Anyone can download the Microsoft 365 app for free. Access and save documents to the cloud by connecting a Microsoft Account (for OneDrive or SharePoint) or by connecting to a third-party cloud storage provider. Logging in with a personal Microsoft account or a work or school account connected to a Microsoft 365 subscription will unlock premium features within the app.

Here’s a simple truth: We don’t interact with documents on mobile the same way we do on desktop. So naturally, it makes sense that Microsoft reimagined Office for a uniquely mobile experience. With Word, PowerPoint, and Excel combined into one app, being productive feels frictionless. And we love that.
Prodotto business, 10 e lode
Ottimo prodotto: meglio una sola app che 4 diverse. Le funzionalità sono le stesse delle precedenti, riunite in una e con più funzioni. C’è la parte di OCR, creazione PDF e firma dei PDF che prima era in Lens (se ricordo bene). Serve un account Microsoft, meglio se business, se non lo hai e ti lamenti non hai capito il target di questa app. Con il mio account aziendale è fenomenale avere tutto integrato. Voto: diesci!
App ancora grezza
Tanti, troppi problemi e funzioni mancanti in una app che pretende di essere “pro” e pretende di essere pagata per tale. I più seccanti: la comparsa di un avviso, nella home, che chiede continuamente di accedere al tuo account (ma sei già loggato); tra l’altro, il pulsante “accedi” è parzialmente coperto da quello “crea”, per cui nove volte su dieci non si riesce a cliccarvi; pessima integrazione di word con la magic keyboard, per cui il cursore si sposta solo visivamente, ma continui a digitare dove era prima; sempre il cursore, se si tenta di spostarlo su una parola per correggerla, la selezione integralmente cancellandola (a volte capita con una intera sezione di testo); ma gravissimo, inaccettabile, è il fatto di non poter creare modelli personalizzati, e addirittura di non poter neppure utilizzare quelli già creati. Insomma, siamo lontanissimi dall’aver portato su dispositivi mobili una app assimilabile a quella desktop. Il problema è che anche altre app Microsoft sembrano programmate in maniera altrettanto sciatta: outlook e teams, per dire, su ipad pro, hanno una pessima integrazione tra loro (per dire, cliccando su “partecipa riunione” dal calendario outlook ti manda, nel 90% dei casi, alla schermata teams di creazione nuova riunione, e non alla riunione esistente: per cui, chiudi entrambe le app, riavvia, riprova, e riprova, e riprova, e intanto gli altri partecipanti cominciano a chiamarti perchè non ti colleghi) Francamente, non vale il costo.
