If you look it up in their course catalog, it's on Shakespeare

This course and this professor have rekindled my love of Shakespeare. Went to see Romeo and Juliet here in NYC today and remembered the discussions. I revisited the plays I already read and explored new ones. I would listen to the lectures while working out. Made the work outs easier. I just wish he had more on ItunesU.

Not representative of Berkeley

As a Berkeley grad who majored in English and took this course with another professor, Altieri is just horrible. He understands the plays and has a few good insights, but his snobbery and elitism get in the way of his ability to be an educator. I am so glad I had this class with a wonderful professor, and I feel sorry for the students who had to put up with his attitude problem.
