This is what passes for academics at VTech?

I live in Japan, and figured I might learn a little more something about where I live. Instead, I get badly dressed, mugging clown yo-yoing back and forth in front of a fixed video camera. The racist "Japanese" mugging and put-on sing-song accent didn't make it any better: it made me wonder if he did the Africa segments in blackface, just to be consistent.

Content-wise, this is one of the first times I've seen what's supposed to be a college lecture and thought to myself, "You know, *I* could do better." Trust me, it's pretty bad when I can make that statement. Shallow stuff, and for God's sake, learn to pronounce the name of Japan's main northern island, Hokkaido: I've never heard it mangled in quite the way this guy does it.

This is the most funny class I've ever seen! Hilarious and Educational at the same time! Incisive but objective!

This teacher is great! Able to bridge the gaps of knowledge that a lot of people (myself included) had in our understanding of the world. I love how enthusiestic he is. Really makes for a very entertaining educational experience without the boring confines of a traditional lecture :) You Rock...keep it going. Bought your book too :)
