A+ Lectures

The Berkeley Dept. of History is a top shelf institution with top shelf faculty. Professor Vernon is among those. His lectures are intriguing and informative. His historical analyses will help foster the listeners' understanding of current world events.
These podcasts are technically better than previous ones. Professor Vernon has learned how to control the amplitude of his voice when using a microphone while lecturing. He used to pain the eardrums of his podcast listeners when trying to emphasize a point to his students, but these podcasts are much, much better.

great class

I listened to this class and found it extremely useful. Entertaining and instructive. I especially appreciate Vernon's approach of digging into apparent paradoxes within liberalism. By exploring its contradictions and inconsistencies we learn a lot. Highly recommended.
