Master of Photography - Hidden Alaska

I downloaded this hoping it would be a presentation on Alaskan photography. Thinking I was going to receive a lesson on techniques for successful photography in Alaska, I was completely disappointed to hear that it was in fact a political activist expounding his views on gold and copper mining in Alaska. The fool went so far as to say you are either a business person or you love the environment. I am sick of political activists. I turned off the volume and viewed lots of nice pictures but didn't learn a thing about photography.

okay

the whole reason for me downloading this was to learn some tips from the professionals, I was disappointed to say the least, most of what they talked about, was about the political part of their shoot. I'm not saying all of the presenters were political, i'm just saying there could have been more information on camera tips and actual photographs of what they talked about in their presentations. It was okay. Mahalo, and Aloha.

National Geo Photographers care

This series of photography documentaries reminds me of the original National Geographic of great photos and stories compared to the weird junk on the National Geographic TV channel on cable. I especially like the Master series on Alaska and Borneo. We need to think in a more sustainable manner when we use natural resources. Abusive resource extraction such as clear cutting forests and strip mining has consequences that can end up affecting everyone.
