Physics as elucidated by Prof Walter Lewin

Physics taught by that master of clear thinking Prof Lewin is rendered magically fascinating. I think of him as my "Uncle Walt", who mentored me in math and science as a kid, and instilled in me a hunger to find out WHY!!! Prof Lewin has the most wonderful props that he acquaints us with as we learn the nuts and bolts of freshman physics. This is a course that once finished will stay with you forever.

I'm an engineering student at South Alabama and at the beginning of this semester I had to travel out of town for a week. I was terrified I would get behind and that's when I found Prof Lewin's lectures. I watched one on my flight to Sacramento and was immediately hooked to his teaching style. Using his lectures I was able to ace my first physics exam although I had missed my own professors lectures. I don't recommend missing lectures, but if your looking for something to supplement your lectures then I'd recommend these. He brings so much energy to the classroom and makes a difficult subject entertaining. Prof Lewin sets the bar for all physics professors out there!

Refreshing Physics

An excellent expample of what future of education could be. Outstanding and entertaining Prof Lewin brings Physics to life. An excellent refresher for those of us who took their physics 30+ years ago. This would also be an outstanding compliment study guide for the multitudes stuck with an average to poor physics instructor.
