A horrible, horrible app with disgraceful levels of greed.
While this app used to be commendable, it has now transformed into another follower of the diabolic corporate industry. They do not care about you as a consumer, they do not care about you as a person, they do not even care about their app as a platform (seen clearly due to their lack of effort in design), they only care about money.
Having advertisements play WHILE you are playing a song is a special type of evil that I may only wish upon the iniquitous developers of this awful application themselves. Truly an ignominious usage of technology that is unfortunately all the more copious in our current day and age.

While millions of users are enjoying using Anghami and listening to music, we are really sad to read this review. Our utmost care is our users and their experience while using Anghami, on the other hand, we have many expenses and royalties to pay for labels and artists each time you listen to a song. We can't pay these expenses without the subscription of Anghami Plus, although we have many offers and a free trial.
Good app but needs more care
I’m enjoying the app since 2019 but I noticed a couple of issues that aren’t fixed yet even with the continuous updates..
first the desktop app needs more work regarding compatibility and less resources consumption because it’s still heavy and unstable sometimes, also uploading music from my PC is a nightmare sometimes and i have to rename or modify the original file details to make it work which is weird. Another thing to note is the sound quality of the uploaded songs is very compressed and sometimes can’t listen to that low quality sound.. The mobile App is good (only when you’re subscribed) but organising the likes list and reordering them is so hard like when I have to keep holding one song and dragging it all the way down, there should be a better solution.. Regardless, Thanks for the high quality experience 👌🏻

Unhappy
I’ve been using anghami since it launched, and found it really good with enormous platform. But when you tried to force people to subscribe, the way you did it is unpleasant and made great number of users to uninstall the app. I know that you there are many people who subscribed. But if you did it in a nice way, it maybe was your chance to be the greatest in the world.
