Whether MD5, SHA-1, SHA256 or SHA-512 - "File Hash" offers a huge variety of options for creating hashes. And the beauty of it is: you do not have to be a shrewd Unix expert! Everything is clear and easy to use via the graphical User Interface.
Check Hash

Many download sites (including apple.com) provide a checksum for the offered downloads. This is in most cases either an MD5 or SHA-1 hash. With "File Hash" you now have the option to verify and check the hash of your downloaded file. Special knowledge is not needed. A fast and secure verification of the downloaded files has never been so easy. This is the only way to verify the integrity of files downloaded from the internet. Protect yourself from tampering during file transmission!
