Yr 11 student Joshua Nathan talks to the competitors at last weeks CAS athletics meet.

August 5th, 2017 will go down in Waverley College folklore.
The 1st, 2nd & 3rd XV all won their respective premierships and for the 1st XI it was 9 years since they last won CAS.
The classes of 77', 87' and 97' were all on hand celebrating reunions as were thousands of other oldboys  to watch history in the making.
With the help of the students we were able to capture some of the excitement and emotion of the day with interviews with players, teachers and oldboys.

This month we look back at some of the achievements of the students.

Water Polo, sailing, debating, football, rugby and music as well as young Ned Wieland who is attempting to swim the English Channel later this month.
We catch up Darren Ellis (85) to chat about his time at the college, his tenure as president of the Rugby Supporters Club and his son Joel who has been selected in the Australian Schoolboys Rugby Tournament.

On this episode we talk to Will Ryan Class of '79 publican of the Harold Park Hotel and home to the Old Boy's Muster was held on June 10th. 
Now in its 3rd year the muster is all about bringing old boys together both old and new. 
We also talk to the new president of the OBU Salvatore Riolo about his appointment and his vision for the OBU into the future.

Former college captain now practising anesthetist,  Daniel Carayannis talks about his time in the cadets and how it set him up for life after school and Rebecca Curran joins us to announce two great events The Waverley Sporting Greats Q&A event on May 5th and the revival of the  Blue and Gold Ball in August.
