Utility app for Bad Elf's line of external GPS/GNSS receivers
This utility app allows owners of any Bad Elf GPS accessory to check the health of the Bad Elf hardware, view the GPS data being received, transfer and view trip logs, and install firmware updates.

Note: Continued use of the GPS running in the background can dramatically decrease battery life.

今回のISOのバージョンアップにて。。。
ISO８.４になって バッドエルフのアプリ上の設定でOkを押しても依然としてOffのままでバックグランドでのGPS追跡が反映されているようには見えませんが、ナビアプリ上ではきちんとGPSが働いていており自車位置が正しく表示されるようになりました。これで僕のiPad mini Wifiモデルでのナビアプリ使用が再び可能になりました。アプリの問題ではなくISO側の問題だったんですね。
このアプリが使用できなかった間、iPhoneのGPS情報をデザリングでiPadに転送してiPadWifiモデルでGPSが使用可能になるアプリを使ってみましたが全く使い物になりませんでした。
このアプリとBE-GPS-1000とは長い付き合いなので諦めず待っててよかった〜‼︎ ヽ(≧▽≦)ﾉ
最近GPSの精度がかなり上がっているような感じがするのですが、気のせいですかね？
アップデートが改悪だった
アップデートが改悪だったので☆3つです、もとの機能が使えるようになったら☆5つです!!!
iPod touchに付けてオフライン環境で使ってます。ちなみにハードはAmazonで買いました。MapFanとの併用でナビ的な使用、ハイキングのロガーとして使ってました。が、最近のアプリアップデート後はバックグラウンド状態では位置取得してくれない仕様になってしまったため、他アプリにGPSデータを提供することが出来なくなった様です。また、BadElfのミニUSB端子からのTouch本体充電も出来なくなりました。これにより今まで重宝していた使用方法が使えなくなったので困っています。次回のアップデートで修正されることを祈ります。
迷子()にならなくなった
Bad Elf GPSレシーバー用の専用ソフトです。
本体は個人輸入、代理店経由、その他色々で買ってください。
3次元空間で位置を特定するには、3点(3GPS)との距離が必要です。
そのために必要なGPSの軌道(アルマナック)データは30秒毎に送信してくるため、
座標特定には(3+1)x30=120秒、最低かかります。
これは仕様なんで我慢しましょう。
ネットに繋がっていればネット経由で軌道データを入手できます。
Assisted GPSってやつですね。
電子コンパスは内蔵されていないため、立ち止まると現在地がモゾモゾ動きます。
バッテリの減りが激しいので、時たま使う、外部バッテリを用意するなど対策したいです。
