Delicious Library 3 4+

I really like the idea for this app - I have had it for many years, but little niggles have always stopped me using it properly. When you download a book you get lots of data, but you can’t sort the books by the data, and so what is really frustrating for me is that when you have authors with many books written in distinct series’, there is no way to make the library show the books in the same series, next to each other, and in the correct order. I say this is frustrating because often, the relevant data is there to allow this, but there is no ‘sort’ function in the library. There is also no option to keep the books all the same size, and I have had weird situations where one book is tiny on the shelf, and another is huge - despite them being the same size in real life. Let’s have the option to just make the books all the same size. Also, It would be nice to be able to have the option to view the books as they would actually appear on a bookshelf - i.e. seeing the spines.

There are a number of little niggles that for me, made it a little frustrating and which have stopped me spending the time needed to catalogue all of my books - which is a shame because I really wanted to do this.

Perhaps if you are not at OCD as me, then you will like this software just as it is - but personally, I just wish they would offer more control over how books are viewed, and sorted.

This update — unfortunately — removes the now-inoperative interface for Amazon domains except the United States and Canada. On October 25, Amazon UK, France, Spain, and Italy joined Japan and Germany in closing Delicious Monster's Associate accounts. Therefore searching, lookups (retrieving detailed product information), and selling items in those stores is no longer possible. We’re extremely sorry we can no longer offer this service.

Ver.3.9.3 Ventura 13.0では使えなくなりましたが，Ventura 13.4では再度使えるようになっていました。Sonoma 14.0では本棚表示ができなくなりました。Sonoma 14.1になってまた本棚表示ができるようになりました。よかった。
