英語に必要なIPAを学べる
全部の音に過不足ない短い解説動画が付いている。発音のコツ、舌の位置、必要に応じて口の形まで。言語により違いがわかりにくい可能性のある音は、最後に取り上げて比較しながら発音してくれる。
発音の発想を学習するのに訛りはあまり関係ない気がした。 当然だが空気の方向、似た音、子音の分類は普遍性がある。
他の言語は入門書の最初の方の項で学習するが、英語はおざなりになっていた。広告もおしとやかで平和。いつもありがとう。
追記
Voiced cnsonantsとvoiceless consonantsの配置が対になっていたことに気づいた。すごい親切設計。voiced consonantsは濁点に近い概念かもしれない。
初めは補助的なものとしてIPAを学習し始めたが、真面目にやってみると、発音記号を音節で理解できるようになる。そして、掴めるまで50回くらい聞き直していたものが、調べてからなら数回で済むようになった。

有料版買いました
UK版のphonicsを真面目にやろうとあれこれ試してこれに落ち着き、すぐ有料版買いました。UK版少ないのでありがたい。BBC learning Englishとともに毎日コツコツやってます。説明は英語。
1. スペル違いも含めて同じ発音を含む単語にたくさん触れられるのがいい。聞く・発音するだけでなく、発音記号からスペルを再現したり、似た発音の単語群から異なるものを選んだりと、いろんなトレーニングができる。
2. 発音チェックの精度はまずまず。ただし文章の場合、自分の発音した文が正しく表示されるのに低評価になる。コツが掴めてないのかも？
3. 希望を言うなら、練習の終わった母音や子音の色が変わるといい。どこまでやったか分からなくなるので。It would be better if they change the colors when the practice has been done. I always forget which one I’ve just learned.
