- Added file transfer settings: For uploads and downloads, you can now specify whether you are asked for confirmation before files are overwritten or whether existing files should always be overwritten.
- A warning message is now displayed when trying to add a new Google Drive connection and when connecting to existing Google Drive connections. See below for details.
- Removed Microsoft App Center crash reporting because App Center is scheduled for retirement on March 31, 2025.
- Removed duplicate "Share…" item in text selection menu.
- Other minor improvements

Due to Google’s changes to the Google Drive API, the built-in Google Drive client will be removed from Textastic in a future update.

どなたかが2ペイン表示に対応してくれればベストとレビューしていましたが、スプリットビューに対応しているデバイスでしたら2ペイン表示可能ですよ。左側のファイル名一覧で、ファイル名の部分をロングタップしてコンテキストメニューから「Open In New Window」するか、右側のエディタ部分でファイル名のタブをロングタップしてコンテキストメニューから「Move Tab to New Window」で2ペイン表示になります。

v.9.2 で外付けキーボードによる Ctrl+F, B, P, N でカーソル表示が内部的には移動しているが表示が更新されない不具合に遭遇しましたが、メールでサポート依頼をすると迅速に対応していただけました。v.9.2.1 で改修されていました👍🏻
これからも安心して使っていけそうです☺️

Could you please check for the way it accesses the network files?

Hello.
I’m having some issues with this app.

It freezes for about a minute, every 3-5 mins and it’s close to unusable.
It doesn’t always do this so I wasn’t sure what’s making it do this, but I think I know the issue. It seems like it’s the network issue, because this happens every time I use the files on the local network storage.

When I open the files on the local network storage at home, I have no issue using it. But when I go out, it obviously cannot access the local files anymore, so it seems like it freezes when trying to access them again which I think is a descent behavior.
So recently I’m making sure that I closed all the files on the local network before I go out. However, I think it’s trying to access the previously opened files for some reason. And this happens every 3-5mins until it reaches the timeout(probably about a minute) or the destination…
The problem is, it doesn’t access at the background, so that it just freezes and leaves it unusable.

Would you please check if there’s the code which makes it do the similar behavior?
or it helps if there is the way I can refresh the cache on this.

This has been a headache for me over the years and looking forward to using this without any issue.

Easy to use

I’m a noob with website maintenance and this program was fairly easy to figure out although not super intuitive. I just started to use this program, so it’s difficult to know how well it works in the long run but the menus are simple. It took me awhile to create a connection to my server because I’m never really sure what my user name is so I had to keep creating a new connection because it wasn’t clear at the beginning on how to edit the information. I did figure it out in the end and it works well!
