New Skype

Ayssar Roro

I have been using Skype for the past 10 years, and this new update completely changed what I had in mind... it is no longer Skype!
I feel it like complicated and full of new options, going beyond what Skype started with and for.
I usually don't write reviews, but I feel I need to for this new Skype.
They are attempting to transform Skype to a social media app, unfortunately. Will that ever happen? Using Skype like other social media? I doubt, one because Skype was for video and chats, two because there are plenty of social medias offering what they just added to Skype!
It might be because it is completely new, but I feel it very difficult to adapt with,
Everything changed, everything became more complex, even adding new friends is a new process! Thank God the app still says "Skype"!
I even lost the option to choose my status (online or invisible) so I have to logout every single time.
They added some nice new features though.
I did not update Skype on my laptop nor iPad, I prefer the old simple design!
Thank you
