Album Review

By the time Luman got around to cutting these tracks for Hickory Records, he was straddling the fine line between his old rockabilly style and vying for entry in the world of country music. As such, the tracks move between those two poles, rocking furiously one minute (the title track) and lapsing into maudlin tear-jerker sentiments the next ("It's A Sin," complete with corny recitations). Not his best, nor a good introduction to his work, but not awful, either.
