Ferlyn G’s hard-won evolution took real perseverance. After moving to South Korea and joining K-pop group SKARF, she broke out on her own as an emancipated solo performer. It was a welcome opportunity to take full songwriting control and creative freedom, showing her fans her true self while scoring film and TV roles to boot. She didn’t shy away from hot topics, either, and shed light on overcoming depression via a short film and hit single, “Killer Boy”.
