About Katch 22

In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. Listening to Big Band music on my father's 78 RPM records. Later on listening to early Rock and Roll from the early days, Bill Haley, Eddie Cochrane etc. Later on the Beatles inspired me to form my first band. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Crosby, Stills & Nash, Crosby, Stills & Nash Electric Light Orchestra, ELO's Greatest Hits The Byrds, The Byrds - Greatest Hits I was always impressed by the close harmony singing of these bands, and I played cover versions of their music in my band. Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song. “You're a Heartbreaker” This is a new song in a Rock Style, and different from our earlier music. It features a synth lead sound for the first time. What’s one of the most memorable moments in your career so far? Playing to a mass audience at the 14th International Song Festival at Sopot in Poland in 1974. The show was televised to the complete eastern European bloc, probably our biggest audience ever. Also our first ever Radio One recording. Is there anything left on your bucket list as an artist or band? Would love to tour the USA, we have a large following over there. I would like to see our new music reach higher up the charts than our early stuff.
