About Shari Ulrich

Shari Ulrich's first band of distinction was the Pear of Pied Pumkin with Rick Scott and Joe Mock. She played with the group for three years, but left in 1976 to join the Hometown Band. Two years later, Ulrich left that band and began playing her solo act at various folk festivals. Her first album, Long Nights, was released in 1980; One Step Ahead appeared the following year and Talk Around Town in 1982. Around the time of her collaboration with Bill Henderson and Roy Forbes on a concert and their later recording as UHF, Ulrich released Every Road (1990) and Best of Shari Ulrich (1991). ~ John Bush
