Carrie Fisher: A Biography

Carrie Frances Fisher an American actress and writer was best known for her iconic role as Princess Leia in the Star Wars film series.  Carrie Fisher was born in Burbank California to actors and singers Eddie Fisher and Debbie Reynolds, who became instrumental to her growth as an actress as well. It was often stated that Fisher had “hid in books” as a child to become known as the bookworm within the family.
