Fusing blues, chaabi, and reggae with tales of social inequality and exclusion, Les Temps Modernes is the second album from MAP rapper Kaddour Haddadi, aka HK, and the collective self-described as the "little brother of Zebda," Les Saltimbanks. Named after the 1936 Charlie Chaplin film, the follow-up to 2011's Citoyen du Monde includes collaborations with chanteuses from Algeria (Souad Massi), Brazil (Flavia Coelho), and France (Karimouche), as well as the single, "Toute Mon Vie" and a unique interpretation of Jacques Brel's "Amsterdam." ~ Jon O'Brien, Rovi
