Best of the Best features a handful of David Frizzell's hits, unfortunately re-recorded, including the duets he recorded with Shelly West, in the early to mid-'80s. "You're the Reason God Made Oklahoma," "I Just Came Here to Dance," and "I'm Gonna Hire a Wino to Decorate Our Home" are included along with a cover of his brother Lefty's signature tune, "Saginaw, Michigan." Even though this is a budget set, it's a bit skimpy at only ten tracks and does not include every hit that a casual fan would want. Until a proper Frizzell hits package is released, this will have to do.
