For 11 years and on over 25 albums, the self-proclaimed "King of Discofox," Michael Wendler, has remained true to his pop schlager formula of simple keyboard melodies, dance beats, and lyrics revolving around love. His album Donnerwetter, which reached number seven in the German album charts, features 14 songs in the same vein, including the title track (which he wrote live on TV in Stefan Raab's TV Total) and a sequel to one of his biggest hits, "Sie Liebt den DJ" ("Sie Liebt Ihn Immer Noch").
