Album Review

This Is Jazz, Vol. 27 contains 11 well-chosen tracks taken from pop/soul/jazz pianist Ramsey Lewis, focusing on his '70s recordings for the Columbia label. To be definitive, this disc would have to add his Cadet and Argo hits "In-Crowd," "Hang On Sloopy," and "1, 2, 3," which it doesn't.
