Moving forth towards world domination with wall-to-wall monster hits–and one diamond in particular. Sexy synth reigns supreme across Rihanna’s distinctive raw R&B vocal and there's still a sense of her fun Bajan roots alongside the more hardcore hip hop moments. But this is a predominantly dance-crossover for Riri: there's a summer swing to "You Da One", "Where Have You Been" is EDM-imbued and there's winding seduction on the Jay-Z-featuring "Talk That Talk". But it's Calvin Harris' tubular urgency on "We Found Love" that propels this album to another level.
