A modern jazz quartet from Canada, Altered Laws (Miles Black -- piano, Tom Keenlyside -- flute and saxophone, Dave Robbins -- drums, and Miles Foxx Hill -- bass) released the much lauded Outsiders in 2007. In 2008, the band's experience and sound earned Altered Laws a nomination in Canada's premier music awards ceremony, the Juno Awards. ~ Chris True
