About Didier Super

Provocatively crude and aggressive artist Olivier Haudegond (aka Didier Super) released three albums between 2001 and 2008, the second of which was a revamped (supposedly more listenable) version of the first. Music was, actually, a secondary concern to Super, who simply made his music as unsettling as possible while focusing on shock tactics (like making Indian people say "Thank you, Tsunami" in French to his camera). Super's recipe lay in "no respect whatsoever" ethics, probably the kind of humor the early 21st century was lacking, appealing to those who had read Charlie Hebdo, Professeur Chauron's Hara-Kiri, or left-wing and anarchist pamphlets, or quite simply dug punk in any form. ~ Olivier Duboc
