In the artist’s words: Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail. I went to an outdoor rock show in 1993 where Black Happy, Medicine Hat and Oil Can Boy performed. After watching that show I went and bought a guitar and beat machine and started playing music. What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular? Boards of Canada, Geogaddi Failure, Fantastic Planet Pinback, Blue Screen Life Boards of Canada are masters of gorgeous sounding keys and beats. I love Failure for their heavy rock sound. Pinback is probably one of my favorites that just hit every note perfectly. I can listen to them again and again. Tell us why you chose this song. “Black Tides” It was a mistake song that turned out to be good enough to open the album. I'm a sucker for drone synth bass songs. It's a very apocalyptic sounding song as well.
