About Reconcile

Reconcile is the rap alias of Ronnie Lillard, a Houston, Texas-based activist and youth mentor who overcame a rough upbringing in his native Fort Myers, Florida to apply his street knowledge, collegiate studies, and faith to his hard-hitting recordings. As a star football player, Lillard attended Rice University on a full athletic scholarship, triple-majored in philosophy, sociology, and religious studies, and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. He made his debut as Reconcile in 2012 with Abandoned Hope, released on Thi'sl's Full Ride label. The follow-up, Sacrifice, arrived two years later on Frontline Movement and registered on Billboard's Christian, gospel, and rap charts. After the Catchin' Bodies EP in 2015, Lillard put together his third proper full-length, Streets Don't Love You, issued in 2017 with Lecrae among the guests. ~ Andy Kellman
