Forming in Glasgow, Scotland in 2005, We Are the Physics were an experimental post-rock band that drew inspiration from such varied artists as Devo, the Skids, and Buddy Holly. The bandmembers built their fan base and honed their chops on a number of tours throughout Europe, eventually signing a deal with One Records and releasing the single "Less Than Three" in 2006. "Fear of Words" followed in 2007, and in 2008 the band planned a May release for its debut, We Are the Physics Are OK at Music. To support the album release, the band had touring plans for the onset of that year, as well as a warm-up single, April's "You Can Do Athletics, BTW." ~ Chris True
