iTunes Review

Van Halen has always been an impressive live band, with chops that other groups dream about. It isn't just Eddie Van Halen's peerless guitarwork, but also Michael Anthony's backing vocals and the rhythm section that floats where other bands pound. Sammy Hagar has his fans and detractors—replacing a legend such as David Lee Roth will divide the troops—but he nails down Roth-era tunes such as "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love," "Panama," and "Jump" without losing the thread.
