The first of a two-part 12-inch series for Disko B, featuring material previously available only via the artist's limited-run Viewlexx label. A four-tracker of decidedly unconventional electro and techno, Dead Girl's two standouts are "I Do Because I Couldn't Care Less" — a ruthless, dissonant electro stormer satirizing techno's devolution into pop mediocrity (the track's title is a nose-thumb at Aphex Twin's 1995 album I Care Because You Do) — and the chafing doomsday electro-pop of "Superman."
